About Us

Jason Mark Hughes set up JMH Automotive Ltd as an independent Porsche, Ferrari and Maserati specialist covering the Northwest, Cheshire and Manchester region in 2002. JMH engineers have over 30 years experience with the Ferrari, Maserati & Porsche Marques and can provide the complete package, including servicing and routine repairs such as brakes and clutches, for your cherished car.

We have a team of Maserati, Ferrari and Porsche factory trained and fully qualified technicians to care for your car, all having many years Ferrari, Maserati and Porsche backgrounds. JMH has grown into a nationally respected company and are already arguably the leading independent servicing specialists of Porsche and Ferrari cars in Cheshire and the North West. We have a loyal and regular customer base who demand the highest standard of work at competitive prices. JMH only employ dedicated and highly skilled people who can deliver the quality of work required for these prestigious marques.

In addition to servicing, JMH are also a highly respected race team in both Ferrari and Porsche Championships throughout the UK. JMH has competed in many Club Championships all the way through to British GTs. Many podium finishes including outright wins prove our pedigree and Jason has personally, dramatically improved some of the world’s most exotic road cars into winning race cars. We can do the same for you. Our great racing record also lead us to becoming the official B.A.C Mono car builder in 2010. We built the B.A.C Mono until they moved into their own factory in 2014.

Ferrari Servicing

JMH is now regarded as one of the leading independent Ferrari specialists in the UK, and particularly in the North West, serving Manchester, Liverpool / Wirral, Stoke on Trent as well as areas such as Wilmslow, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Crewe and Chester. Our expertise is tested under race conditions and we provide the same dedication to our road car customers.

At JMH all our Ferrari servicing is carried out to factory schedules using only Ferrari service coupon recommendations, including Shell Helix oils. All components are Ferrari or OEM parts and our work is carried out in accordance with Ferrari standards.

In addition to routine servicing, JMH can carry out any work to your specific requirements. Please contact us to discuss your needs without obligation.

JMH are one of the few independent Ferrari specialists to own an Ferrari SD1, SD2, SD3 & DEIS compatible diagnostic computer allowing full diagnostics on your modern Ferrari.

We have the latest technology in four-wheel camera alignment, equipment to reset your suspension geometry and give optimum settings for handling on road or track. Our experience in the racing world of Ferrari gives us the leading edge on our competitors on setting your car up for track use or even just for fast road use.

We also have courtesy cars for anyone booking their car in with us, these cars are loaned to you free of charge for the duration of your service. The car must be covered by you own insurance policy or you can insure through us for a £16.99 fee. Please remember to book the courtesy car when you book your car in with us.

Since 2011, all new Ferrari’s have come with a 7-year service plan. As models like the California, 488, FF, and F12 move beyond these plans, many owners are seeking a more personalised servicing option outside the main dealer network.

Here at JMH we are fully equipped with the latest technology to enable us to diagnose a fault on your Porsche without delay. We have our own Porsche PIWIS 3 diagnostic equipment which can pinpoint a problem on your vehicle quickly and easily. This in turn helps us to rectify the fault and return your car to you in the quickest possible time. This technology can be used on all Porsche models from 964 to the current day models.

JMH Racing

18 x CHAMPIONSHIP WINNING TEAM

For 2026, JMH will be starting over in Portugal and Spain, competing in the GT Winter Series. We will be competing in the the full Winter Series Championship, using this as our winter test program.

We will be back, to compete in both British GT and GT Cup championships. In British GT we will be contesting our McLaren 720S GT3 Evo and in GT Cup we will be contesting PB Racing’s Audi R8 GT3 Evo 2 and a Lamborghini Super Trofeo for a full season.

British GT

The McLaren 720S GT3 Evo will be competing in the top class and will be driven by the owner Simon Orange and McLaren professional driver Marcus Clutton. With these two at the wheel, we stand a strong chance for the title. This entry will be running under the banner of ‘Orange Racing by JMH’ in British GT.

GT Cup

We will be running a Audi R8 GT3 Evo 2 for PB Racing, with the owner Peter Erceg at the wheel, and with guest drives from Marcus Clutton. This is Peter’s third season with JMH, fresh from winning the British Endurance Championship in 2024 with us.

We are also running a Lamborghini Super Trofeo for Frank Morris. This is Frank’s second season of racing, crossing over from just doing track days. Frank will be partnered by James Pickford, who brings a wealth of experience for Frank.

We currently have opportunities for the 2026 season. Whether you want to compete in a full season or just want your road car track day ready or a full track day support, we can offer packages tailored to suit your needs. Please call us for more details.

Our racing history speaks for itself. Since JMH opened in late 2002 we have had many top 3 championship results and we are 18 times Championship winners in many different categories! Please take a look at our history. Even before JMH opened its doors, Jason Mark Hughes had worked for another team, taking 3 championships in a 4-year spell. Track Day

Why not be a racing driver for the day?

We can look after you on your track day. We can supply you with a Technician to help run your own road car at any given track or we can run your race car with full support from our team. When we give our full support, you have nothing to worry about apart from the driving! We will prep your car, transport your car and give you full support at the circuit while you sit in our air conditioned office in the truck.

Our services start from £810 per day for full support from the team. Please call and speak to us for full details. Our support can include storage, insurance, transportation, preparation work, bodywork.
